PowerTAP Modular Systems

Simplified overhead power distribution from RPP to IT active gear

Reliably distribute up to 400A redundant from the remote power panel (RPP) to each active gear rack. PowerTAP is an overhead power distribution system
that organizes high amperage feeds in a single linear row for easier and more organized connection. PowerTAP modular power systems are comprised of
just two components: Modular Power Cables (MPCs) and Modular Power Units (MPUs). PowerTAP allows rapid low-cost deployment of a high amperage
system with the flexibility for changing power at the rack. Combine with PowerLOK rPDUs, now up to 200A, that are built in an automated facility in the USA.

Power options to 400A redundant for each rack location

PowerTAP MPUs are pluggable devices with a wide variety of outputs. Up to 4 units can be placed in a single row at each rack location.

Deliver power to each rack using UL2237 listed MPCs

  • 125A & 200A Hubbell Powergain flat connections.
  • Back-out (2) PIM screws slightly just to clear mounting flange. 1

Rapid installation

Each MPC is a direct run from the RPP to each rack location using a highly flexible cable and a connector designed for quick and secure placement. PowerTAP MPCs are secured to standard strut while a pluggable MPU can be added or removed in minutes.
