Linear overhead power distribution from RPP to IT active gear

Reliably distribute up to 400A redundant to each active gear rack. PowerTAP overhead power distribution systems organize high amperage feeds in a single linear row for easier and more organized connection. PowerTAP systems are comprised of just two components: Modular Power Cables (MPCs) and Modular Power Units (MPUs). PowerTAP allows rapid low-cost deployment of a high amperage system with the flexibility for changing power at the rack. Combine with PowerLOK rPDUs, now up to 200A, that are built in an automated facility in the USA.

PowerTAP MPUs are pluggable devices with a wide variety of outputs. Up to 4 units can be placed in a single row at each rack location.

Rapid installation

Installs in significantly less time than traditional overhead systems. Each MPC is a direct run from the RPP to each rack location using a highly flexible cable and high amperage connector designed for quick and secure placement. PowerTAP MPCs are secured to standard strut while a pluggable MPU can be added or removed in minutes.
